The Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc, (NONECO) conducts the first Operation & Maintenance Monthly Meeting for this year led by NONECO General Manager, Atty. Danny L. Pondevilla with the presence of OIC-AOD Manager Engr. Roel F. Salgado, OIC-TSD Manager Engr. Wilbe B. Bilbao, Operation & Maintenance Supervisors, and Technical personnel.

The meeting aims to properly discussed significant events on the damaged of coops’ distribution lines caused by the recent flood. Atty. Danny L. Pondevilla emphasized in creating list, and identify areas prone to flooding . Assessment of the identified areas in the whole coverage of the coop, conducts rehabilitation of poles & equipment, and ensure the strong foundation in the construction of poles.

Advance preparation shall be included in coops’ technical plans and programs, and strengthen emergency responses during flood, and other calamities.

Furthermore, program of works of the coops technical operation was discussed to possibly resolve issues on power fluctuations and sudden or unplanned power interruption.
