NONECO CSR: NONECO Tree planting Activity

In celebration of the 12th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) this August with a theme, “ARISE AS ONE, CHAMPIONING NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES THROUGH RURAL ELECTRIFICATION “, the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NONECO) successfully conducted a Tree Planting Activity of Fruit bearing trees at NONECO Main Office Compound.

The activity was led by NONECO General Manager, Atty. Danny L. Pondevilla, and NONECO Board of Directors participated by NONECO employees which aims to actively support and contribute to our country’s holistic approach to a Greener Philippines towards climate change mitigation and to continuously support the National Greening Program of the National Government.

The activity started in giving importance on the Tree Planting Prayer and commitment through the realization that world was created by our creator, the same as human beings created, and that we have to take part on this privilege as caretakers of this world by planting trees, remembering, and connecting from generation to generation.

This tree planting activity is part of coop’s community program which is beneficial to people and to the world we live in.
